She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rudolph Deighton; her children, Alice (Brian), Bridget (Pat) and Rudy (Brenda); her grandchildren, Greg (Stacey), Chris (Heather), Brianne (Jordon), Alexis (Paul), Miles, Holly, Dan and Tessa; her great grandchildren, Ethan, Brinley, Alley, Leah, James and Hannah; her siblings, Mary and Heddy; her siblings-in-law, Till (late Jan), Victoria (late Jan), Karel (Betty), Eveline (Jan), Bea (Bert) and Chuck (Janice); her parents, Geraldine Vodegel (Dientje) and Aalbert Scharrenburg; and her sister Erna.
