He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ehgoetz and Edna Ehgoetz (Schellenberger); his brother Lorne Ehgoetz; and his siblings-in-law, Howard Ballantyne, Margaret Dietze (George), Beatrice Dupuis (Duncan) and Sandra Ehgoetz.

He is survived by: his wife Ann (Tozer); his children, Kenneth, Catherine Rodd (Calvin), Calvin (Cindy), Patricia Drinkwalter (Joel) and Tammy Allardyce (Glenn); his grandchildren, Candace (Jon), Nicole, Dillon (Jenna), Gillian (Cam), Colton (Megan), Collin, Serena (Scott) and Nolan (Clarissa); his great grandchildren, Zane, Kara, Charlotte and Emersyn; his siblings, Marlene Ballantyne, Paul Ehgoetz and Earl Ehgoetz (Joanne); and his sister-in-law Sharon Baker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
