He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Bast; his son Richard Bast (Liz); his grandchildren, Oliver and Nori; his sister Shirley Vallance (George); his brothers-in-law, Ken Hundert, Robert Swanstrom (Catherine) and Brian Murray (Lisa); his sibling's children, Sarah (Josh), Jen (Pete), Charles (Michelle), Peter, Leah, Darien (Matthew) and Payton (Donnie); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nate, Tyler, Ben, Luke and Evelyne.
