He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Crawford); his children, Julee Nickel (Todd) and Darrell Jackson (Jenna); his grandchildren, Avery, Addison and Leighton Nickel; his siblings, Dennis Jackson, Doreen Jackson, Paul Jackson and Dennis Schlotzhauer; and his pets, Shar and Retriever.
