He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Benner and Marjorie Benner (Ellis); his sisters, Gail Diebel (Ken) and Marjorie Nelder (Chuck); and his siblings-in-law, Joe Ariagno, Ross Schaeffer, Earl Schaeffer, Duncan Malcolm and Eileen Letham.
He is survived by: his spouse Sheron (Schaeffer); his sons, Michael (Jane) and Steven (Judy); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Matthew, Nia (Cory), Kali, Gage and Brin; his great grandchild Mateo; and his siblings-in-law, Mae Ariagno, Carol Malcolm, Keith Schaeffer (Kathy), Neil Schaeffer (Gwen), Paul Schaeffer (Cathy), John Letham, Shirley Schaeffer and Donna Schaeffer.
