It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dave Fangrad of Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dave Fangrad to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fangrad and Ruth Fangrad (Hopkins); his sister June Kinsman; and his brothers-in-law, John Gilbert and Dieter Uloth.
He is survived by: his close friend Ellen Jean "Pip" Fangrad (Gilbert); his wife Pip; his sister Grace Uloth; his brother-in-law Don Kinsman; and his friend Steve Rice. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elgin Missionary Church (4192 Perth County Line 36, Stratford, ON N5A6S6). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 2:15 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Elgin Missionary Church or Evergreen Christian Ministries (Stayner) through the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
