He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Doede and Reta Doede (Reimer); and his siblings, Ron, Richard and Delores Golden.
He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Christine Hoffman (Paul) of Waterloo; his grandson Jonathan; his son Michael Doede (Liz); his granddaughters, Alysha (Mark) and Bailey (Dakota); his great grandchildren, Alysha, Damien of Waterloo, Noelle of Waterloo and Layla of Waterloo; his brother Doug Doede (Kathy) of Burlington; and his brother-in-law Ron Golden of Breslau. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in David's memory may be made to the Stratford General Hospital or to the London Health Science Centre Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre through the W.G.
