He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Laird Miller and Mary Eleanor "Nellie"; his uncle Cyril Herman "Cy" Saunders; and his sister Nancy Ann Hardy. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann "Libby"; his children, Jennifer Lynn Leung (Tony) and Geoffrey Laird (Katherine); his granddaughters, Lauren Elizabeth and Katelyn Maria; and his sister Nina Diane Newton of North Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
