He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Marco Burak; his parents, Charles Wells and Louise Wells; and his sister Shirley Marlene Osborne. He is survived by: his spouse Sherran Dale; and his daughter Michelle Wells.
He was represented in permanent collections including the Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Claridge in Montreal, the North Central Washington Museum and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
