With sadness, we share the passing of Doug Fountain of Stratford, Ontario. Doug, born on October 23, 1939, passed away on June 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Fountain and Ruth Fountain (Hunt); his wife Joy Dianna Fountain (Hawkes); his sister Sharyn Schmidt (Ron); and his parents-in-law, Ralph and Frances Hawkes (Conway).
He is survived by: his children, Fred (Dale), John (Cheryl), Brent (Marianne) and Christine Hruden (John); his grandchildren, Colton (Caty), Kennedy (Hunter), Sidoney (Kari), Rachal (Mike), Brett (Ashley), Alexandrea (Allison), Brooke (Travis), Grace and Rem; his in-law Barbara Pogson (Jim); his nephews, Jeff Pogson (Deanne), Andy Pogson (Dana), Dennis Schmidt (Kara) and Jason Schmidt; and his niece Amy Pogson. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
