As Edward departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Edward leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Crosby "Bing" Aldin and Anne Violet Soeder; his brother Ronald Soeder; and his brother-in-law Donald Brown. He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Pike) of Stratford; his daughter Sandra Soeder of New Zealand; his sister Shirley Brown (Goderich); his sister-in-law Sylvia Soeder (Stratford); and his friend Neil. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7).
