It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Hopper of Stratford, Ontario, born in Thornhill, Ontario, who passed away on August 22, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hopper and Mary Hopper. She is survived by: her children, John Brown, Michael Brown, Donna King (Rod), Jennifer Yungblut and Paul Brown; the father of her children James Brown; and her brothers, James and Edward Hopper. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“I was so sad to hear of the sudden passing of my dearest first cousin Ellen. Condolences to all the family. She was a very special person and we have kept in touch for years and I visited her several times. In June 2019 I travelled South Africa to Toronto where we had three days and two nights together just catching up- and spending quality time together again. She will be sorely missed and may she rest in peace. Much love Sharon Seymour nee Hopper”
