Though Eva may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Else and Kurt; and her brother Rudiger. She is survived by: her daughter Camille Fortin Bensler; and her son-in-law Chadwick Bensler (Honey).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to causes she held dear: Saints Rescue in Mission B.C. or Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth, who provided truly outstanding end of life compassion and care, for which Eva's family is eternally grateful.
