He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Happy and Mabel Happy (Dybvig); and his sister Donna Attridge. He is survived by: his children, Sarah (Scott), Laura (Ashley) and Joe (Jenessa); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Keara (Mitch), Joseph and Jadyn; his sister Sherry LeSouder; his nephews, Matt and Sean; and his brother-in-law Mike Attridge. He is also survived by loving cousins, and a multitude of friends.
