He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick McCann and Lillian McCann; his wife Susan; his son Scott McCann; and his siblings, Kenneth McCann and Carol McCann.

He is survived by : his children, Matt McCann (Erin), Jason McCann and Chris McCann (Laurie); his grandchildren, Jordan (Lauren), Justin, Jaimie, Jared, Nate, Mackenzie, Ben, Katie and Abby; his great grandchildren, Harper and Lillian; and his brother Jim McCann (Theresa).
