He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry George Kalbfleisch and Marion Lauretta Forbeck; and his grandson Nicholas Allan Atchison. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, LynnAnn (Jay Van Middlekoop) of St. Marys and Jodi of Toronto; his grandson Josh Atchison (Hayley); his sister Anne of Waterloo; his nieces, Stephanie and Julia; his great-niece Emma; and his brother-in-law Eric Balsdon (Cheryl) of LaSalle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in George's memory may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Stratford, Rotary Hospice, Stratford, Stratford General Hospital – Cancer Centre, or charity of one's choice.
