It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George O'Brien of Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As George departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy George leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert O'Brien and Anne O'Brien (Ferguson); his wife Therese O'Brien (Bellemore); and his sister Kathleen Schmdit. He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Eric Schmidt, Henry, Mary Bellemore and Carol Bellemore.
