He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ruthven and Esther Ruthven (Pfeffer); and his siblings-in-law, Marie Ruthven and Ray Brainard. He is survived by: his wife Teresa (Kirkby); his daughter Ruth-Ann; and his siblings, John Ruthven, Margaret Brainard and Samuel Ruthven. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Grant's memory may be made to the Stratford General Hospital.
