He is survived by : his wife Gerda (Kaune); and his grandchildren, Michael (Tamara), Philip (Lynn), Peter (Ann), Anne (Brian Cartwright), Trudi (Steve Johnston), Brenda (Wayne Sooley), Amy, Liese (Terry), Aerin, Derek, Katey, Jelica, Jackson, Kurt, Hannah, Britanny, Zachary, Susan and Whitney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
