She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Vogel (Heinz); her grandchildren, Katarina (Dave), Kristina (Dave), Nikolas and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and August; her brother Peter Birkmann (Linda); her sister-in-law Shirley Birkmann; and her sibling's children, Teresa, Karen, Patricia (Glen) and Derrick.
Memorial donations in Ingrid's memory may be made to Hospice of Waterloo Region.
