She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Birkmann and Hilda Birkmann (Henschen); her husband Hermann; and her brothers, Fred and Dick Birkmann.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Vogel (Heinz); her grandchildren, Katarina (Dave), Kristina (Dave), Nikolas and Daniel; her great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and August; her brother Peter Birkmann (Linda); her sister-in-law Shirley Birkmann; her nieces, Teresa, Karen and Patricia (Glen); and her nephew Derrick.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home Reception Centre (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7).
Memorial donations in Ingrid's memory may be made to Hospice of Waterloo Region.
