Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Whaling (Stratford, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 94, on September 19, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernadette Whaling (O'Donnell) and Art Whaling; his spouse Regena Whaling (Bowman); his son Jeremy Whaling; his brother Joseph Whaling; his siblings-in-law, Ray Maloney and Rose Whaling; and his nephews, Brian Whaling, Keith Whaling and Pat Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Jill Walker (Dave); his grandson Ben Walker; his brother Frank Whaling; and his in-laws, Cleo, George Smith and Eleanor Maloney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (96 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5S6). A reception will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. Greenwood Court LTC kindly made it possible, even under difficult circumstances (2 rooms nowhere near each other and then Covid) that the two of them could always be together.
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Society or Greenwood Court through the W.G. Young Funeral Home.
