He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Pflance and Kathleen Pflance (Westlake); his wife Doris Elaine Pflance (Lewis); his father-in-law George (Ivy Lewis); and his siblings, Grace Hartleib (Leon), Bill Merkel, Don, Mary Lewis, Bill Lewis, Winston Lewis, Jo Sutherland (Doug), Joyce Steckley (Harvey) and Nancy Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy, Lori and Mike (Claudia); his goddaughter Karen Breuker; his grandchildren, Justin (Aimee), Jonathan (Sarah), Jennifer (Nathan), Chris (Amanda), Tim (Janna), Andrew, Chelsey (Josh), Gillian (Alex), G. G., Maggie, Greta, Daisy, Ella, Elena, Adeline, Thomas, Jacob, Luna and Jayme; his friend Linda Francis; and his in-laws, Irene Merkel, Rose Feltz (Orval) and Wanda Lewis. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
