He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Plaskett and Norine Plaskett; his in-laws, Jack and Din Willmore; his sister Jane MacVicar; his brother-in-law Gary Dennis; and his nephews, Kevin Dennis and Keith Willmore.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene (Willmore); his children, Jacqueline Bossuyt (Blair) and Steven Plaskett (Jenn); his grandsons, Scott Bossuyt (Ashton), Matthew Bossuyt (Alicia) and Jack Plaskett; and his great grandchildren, Boone and Caleb Bossuyt. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and can be made through the funeral home.
