Kenneth George Aitcheson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 85, Kenneth George Aitcheson of Stratford, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Roy Aitcheson and Helen Aitcheson (Laing); his daughter Erin Nadine; his brother Robert (Sheila); his siblings-in-law, Gwen Galbraith, Ron Butson and Murray Macpherson; and also, Lyall and Beulah Allen (Hyndman).
He is survived by: his spouse Jean (Allen); his children, Evan and Christine (Hughes); his grandchildren, Sophia, Sayde, Brian and Marloes (Nyenhuis); his great grandchildren, Nathan, Reid and Declan; his siblings, D. Roy (Pat), Anne Gotts and Terry; and his siblings-in-law, George Galbraith (Erika), Nora Fulcher (Dan) and Joan Morrison (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Avonton Presbyterian Church (3401 County Rd 130, Saint Pauls Station, ON N5A6S4).
Memorial donations in Ken's memory may be made to Stratford Perth Community Foundation – Jean Aitcheson Nursing Scholarship Fund or to the charity of one's choice.
