He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hook and Catherine Hook; Ray and Ruth Simpson. He is survived by: his close friend Janet; his daughters, Karen Afghan (Abdul) and Andrea Webster (Sean); his grandchildren, Anna, Julia Afghan, Collin, Grace and Owen Webster; and his siblings, Margaret Dunphy (Jack), Graham Hook (Lillian) and Peter Hook (Norzila).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church (41 Mornington St, Stratford, ON N5A5E7). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders or to Holy Trinity Anglican Church through the funeral home.
