We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2024, at the age of 67, Loretta Jean Powless of Stratford, Ontario, born in Hamilton, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loretta Jean Powless to pay them a last tribute.

As we bid Loretta Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Loretta Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Downey and Loretta Downey (Simmons); her husband David Powless; and her brothers, Ian and Jim Downey.

She is survived by : her siblings, Doug Downey (Jane) and Sandy Andress; and her sister-in-law Wendy Burmister-Downey. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethel Church (2988 Ontario St, Gads Hill, ON N0K1J0).
