We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2023, at the age of 84, Lorne Hughes of Stratford, Ontario, born in Eston, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Hughes and Annie Hughes (Bingham); his brother Alvin Hughes; and his brother-in-law Wes Poole. He is survived by : his wife Marlene (Silverson); his children, Anne Broadworth (Kevin), Robin Hughes and Scott Hughes (Julie); his grandchildren, Ray Broadworth (Jess), Taylor Broadworth (Nicole), Cori Postons (Jonas), Khloe Hughes (Benoit), Alyssa Hughes, Nathan Hughes and Norah Hughes; his great grandchild Olli Nolan Postons; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Hughes and Lois Poole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Stratford General Hospital.
