It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martin D. Geleynse (Stratford, Ontario), who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his daughters, Tina Aukema and Ellie Duiker; his wife Alida (Pouwels); his son-in-law John Oegema; and his mother Maria Geleijnse.
He is survived by : his nephew Martin; and his father Bartel Geleijnse. He is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 6th 2021 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, October 7th 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Reformed Church (190 Athlone Crescent, Stratford, ON N4Z1H9).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disability Concerns (a Christian Reformed Church Ministry) or to a charity of your choice through the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
