With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maureen Pratley of Stratford, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maureen left this world on April 20, 2026 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Maureen Marshall (Molly); her grandparents, Ellen, Robert Gibson, Eva and Frederick Marshall; and her aunt Marjorie Marshall.

She is survived by: her husband Doug Pratley; her grandchildren, Gavin, Marianne and Bridget Smith; her father Edwin Marshall; her sisters, Wendy (Michael), Colleen (Peter) and Janice (Mark); and her pet Stella.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Avondale United Church (194 Avondale Ave, Stratford, ON N5A6N4). A reception was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Avondale United Church or Stratford Perth Rotary Hospice through the funeral home. The family has chosen to send donations to AVONDALE UNITED CHURCHDonate Now (https://donate.mytributegift.org).
