He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Bowman and Hannah Bowman; his wife Eleanor Jean (Newton); and his siblings, Saloma Merritt, Leonard Bowman (Joy), Salinda, Priscilla and Carol.

He is survived by: his children, Brad Bowman, Bonita Hayhow (John) and Beverley Maranger (Peter); his grandchildren, BJ Bowman, Kim Lovett (Jayce), Jeremy Hayhow, Kyle Hayhow (Krista), Jesse Maranger (Emma), Justin Maranger (Brittany), Frances Maranger (Thomas) and Cole Maranger; his great grandchildren, Callie, Everly (Hayhow), Lakyn (Lovett) and Margot (Maranger); and his sisters, Edna Vandenburg (Fred) and Grace Bowman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation or reception in order to limit Covid 19 exposure.
