“Each year my almost 92 year old mother and I watch Anne of Green Gables and Road to Avonlea. Patricia Hamilton as Rachel Lynde is a favorite character especially in Road to Avonlea. Her performance and character always made one to feel as if she was part of your family. We are saddened to hear she passed and she will be missed by many.
