He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Helena (Chiong); his parents, James Heffernan and Frances Heffernan (Hayes); his siblings, Larry (Louise), Mike (Anita), Joan Heffernan and Linda Heffernan (Kelly Campbell); his siblings' children, Noel (Rebecca), Danielle (James), Peter, Kevin (Nicole) and David (Nadia); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew and Zhane.
