We announce the death of Percy Lauwaert of Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on August 5, 2026, at the age of 76. Percy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Lauwaert and Elvira Lauwaert; and his wife Rita (Persoon). He is survived by: his children, Nicole Wordofa (Gezahgn) and Michael (Leigh); his grandchildren, Aaron, Braden, Ryan and Linden; his sister Jean Persoon; and his nieces, Leanne and Heather.
