He was predeceased by: his parents, Sofus Pedersen and Jenny Pedersen; his parents-in-law, Arno and Flora Hopf; his sister Ingerlise Pedersen (Karl); and his siblings-in-law, Marilyn Ford and Gary Hopf.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Pedersen; his children, Mike Pedersen (Catherine) and Kim Renfrew (Jay); his grandsons, Brent (Mary), Scott and Curt; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Hopf, Myrna Shantz, Brian Hopf (Katie), Cheryl Graff (Darcy), Eric Hopf (Maureen), Rodney Hopf (Patsy) and Randy Hopf (Barb). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
