He was predeceased by: his parents, Marietta Ranton and Reginald Ranton; his sisters, Lorna Biggin (Cliff), Marion Ranton and Doris Marsh (John); and his siblings-in-law, Esther Gettler (Lloyd), Alice Bested (Wilf), Ken Ische (Ila) and Jack St. Clair.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Ische); and his children, Julie Lobsinger (Lisa) and Doug Ranton (Sandra).
