With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rennie Andela of Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on November 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rennie Andela to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Keimpe Andela and Jacoba Andela; his wife Nellie; his sons-in-law, Doug Barlow and Bill Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Ann Andela and Jerry Duiker.
He is survived by: his children, Maureen Healey (Pat), Ken (Deb), Janet Francis (Eugene), Diane Barlow, Suzanna Brown (Jim), Margaret Taylor (Mark), Carolyn Cameron (Trevor) and Jennifer Pauls (Alf); his siblings, Sidney Andela and Susan Duiker; and his sister-in-law Corrie Singleton. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christian Reformed Church of Stratford (190 Athlone Crescent, Stratford, ON N4Z1H9). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
