With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald David McDermid in Stratford, Ontario, who passed away on December 18, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his siblings, Doug (Julie), Margaret Crook (Dave) and Kevin; his niece Courtney Crook; and his nephew David Crook.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Catherine Caylor; his sister-in-law Shirley Caylor (Mary Caylor); and his nieces and nephews, Chris Caylor, Lincoln Caylor, Jennifer Caylor, Sarah Caylor, Shelby Hodson, Douglas McDermid and Ann McDermid.

You are invited to a memorial service on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, at 11:00 a. m. with Rev. Margaret Walker officiating. the family would like to encourage all in attendance to kindly wear a mask.
