With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Cox of Stratford, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ruth left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 100, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Bach and Annie Bach (Koch); her husbands, William MacGregor and Howard Cox; her son William MacGregor; and her brother Earl Bach.
She is survived by: her son John MacGregor; her grandchildren, Scott MacGregor and Mary MacGregor-Williams; her great grandchild Mackenzie MacGregor-Williams; and her daughter-in-law Peggy Edington (Bob).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A reception will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Gardens (2723 Victoria St N, Breslau, ON N0B1M0).
