We are sad to announce that, on January 12, 2026, at the age of 92, Shirley Aitcheson in Stratford, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melville Alexander and Ruby Alexander (Shearer); her in-laws, Max and Nora Aitcheson; her sister Dorothy; her brother-in-law Elgin Buchanan; her siblings, Gordon Alexander, Grace and Margaret Alice; her brother-in-law Keith Aitcheson; and her son-in-law Bruce Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Stone (Brad), Mary Edwards (Bruce), Cam Aitcheson (Judy) and Gordon Aitcheson (Jodie); her grandchildren, Cheryl Stone (Vincent Caron), Michael Stone, Rebecca Penner (Tyler), Ryan Aitcheson (Sarah Coney), Tanner Aitcheson and Melanie Mosco (Michael); her great grandchildren, Amelia and Abigail Caron; her grandchildren, Isabella, Maddox, Oliver Penner, Simon and Riley Mosco; and her siblings-in-law, Robina Alexander, Donna Aitcheson, Maxine and Reid Coulthard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
