She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Innes and Gladys Innes (Schwantz); her husband George Smart; her son Jerry Smart; her brother Ken Innes; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Anne (Hyde), Ehtel Mae (Gerber), George Hislop, Tom Ball and Lyle Hislop.
She is survived by: the mother of her child Cindy Schultze (Bryan); her grandchildren, Michael Jones, Nicole Nigh (Shane), Katrina Smart and Brittany Neller (Brandon); and her sisters, Audrey Hislop, Helen Hislop and Irene Ball.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Huron Perth Alzheimer Society through the funeral home.
