He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Brooks and Annie Brooks (McDonald); his son-in-law Scott Zulauf; his brother Steve Brooks; and his brother-in-law Jim Sebben.
He is survived by: his daughters, Leeanne Zulauf (Jeff) and Charmaine Brooks (Rachelle); his grandchildren, Sebastian Zulauf (Samantha) and Nikita Zulauf (Shane); and his siblings, Don Brooks (Addie), Judy Sebben (Dietre), Nancy Gornyiczki (Michael) and John Brooks (Jackie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
