He is survived by: his wife Nora McDonald; his children, Tom McDonald (Janet), Susan Morris (Paul), Gord McDonald (Sue), David Morley (Linda) and James McDonald; his grandchildren, Lauri Meyler, Grayson, Cael and Norah; and his children, Vaughan, Ryan Myers, Jackson, Brayden and Shane McDonald (Kate).
