He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Schenck and Hazel Schenck (Senior); his brothers-in-law, Roy Strickert and Dennis Manktelow; his father-in-law Donald Ratz; his stepbrother James Mulford; and his stepmother Marjorie Schenck.
He is survived by: his wife Janis (Ratz); his children, Ian (Kim) and Daryl (Mandy); his grandchildren, Emma, Carson, Liam, Brynlee and Abby; his sisters, Donna Strickert, Alice Coles (Mike) and Trudy Campbell (Darcy); his mother-in-law Shirley Ratz; and his sisters-in-law, Kathy Manktelow and Linda Robinson (Mike). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
