He was predeceased by: his parents, George Roegele and Edna Roegele (Wolfe); his wife Mary "Lenore" Roegele (Foley); his parents-in-law, Gert and Henry Foley; his sisters, Myrtle Whiting (Lorne), Norma Baker (Bill), Jeanne McDonald (Lorne) and Betty Schenck (Lloyd); and his sister-in-law Betty Schenck (Lorne).

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Heming (Adrian), Steve Roegele and Cathy Cubberley (Brent); and his grandchildren, Chad Heming (Nicki), Scott Heming (Jackie), Christopher Rudy, Amy Cubberley (Derek) and Stosh Cubberley (Elizabeth).
