Alfons Jansen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2022, Alfons Jansen (Strathroy, Ontario) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfons Jansen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his wife Lucia Jansen (Van Gorp); his siblings, Sjef Jansen (Toos), Jo Hendrikx (Jan) and Jan Jansen (Nieka); and his sibling-in-law Adrian Van Gorp (Pieta).

He is survived by : his children, Lou Jansen (Mary), Jenny Huybers (John), John Jansen (Erna), Josie Bergsma (John), Marg DeGroot (Pete), Pete Jansen (Jenny) and Jim Jansen (Tracey); and his siblings-in-law, Pete Van Gorp (Petra), Sien Van Loon (Chris), Cornelia Van Gorp, Net De Vet (Gerard) and Jan Van Gorp. He is also survived by Opa loved by 22 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Registration for visitation is required due to the COVID-19 restrictions.

As an expression of sympathy donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
