She was predeceased by : her husband George Matthews; her parents, Elmer Morgan and Mae Morgan; and her siblings, Alfreda Lambert (John) and Ernest Morgan (Joyce).

She is survived by : her sons, Brian Matthews, Wayne Matthews (Renee) and Larry Matthews (Sandra); and her grandchildren, Tyler, Jake, Ryan and Cameron. She is also survived by her many extended family and her friends.
