She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Mildred McNaughton and Leon McNaughton; her husband Perry Bast; her children, Jacob Bast, Katie Bast (Sydney Wyatt), Meagan Donald (Chris), Michael Marcella, David Pearson and Fraser Hughston; and her grandchildren, Madison and Grayson.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Happy's Place senior dog rescue or the Parkwood Hospital - Palliative Care Unit.
