He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna and Wasyl Sr.; his siblings, Steve (Anne), Lawrence (Olga), Andy (Hazel), Roseanne (Tony), Marion (Leo) and Victoria (Mike); and his godson Dale.

He is survived by: his wife Irene; his siblings, John (late Jean) and Evelyn (Dale); his sister-in-law Alice (Norman); his stepgrandchildren, Isaiah and Lexie; and his goddaughter Angie (Laird). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
