He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Reid and Irene Reid (Steeper). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Reid (Fisher); his children, Jeremy Reid (Jana), Tara Shanahan (Brian "Bob") and Ryan Reid; his grandchildren, Matthew Van Heeswyk, Ashley Reid-Van Heeswyk, Emma and Sean Shanahan; his pet Shadow; and his siblings, Joyce McIntyre, Barbara Reid (Bob Kelly) and Morley Reid (Sharron).
