She was predeceased by: her husband Everett Smith (Spike); her sister-in-law Margie Martinak; and her stepson Lawrence Smith. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Penny Watson of Windsor and Larry (Jane Smith) of Sarnia; her children, Bonnie Paquette (Dan) of Val Caron and Elizabeth Forman (Andrew) of Kerwood; and her stepchildren, Sharon Clark (Dorlie) of Strathroy, Dianne Butler (Bob) of Goderick, Len Smith (Marta) of Strathroy and Karen Smith of Inwood. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinson's Society of Canada.
